WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT CLASSES WILL BE BACK IN SESSION, IN PERSON, STARTING IN FALL OF 2021!

The ISKF of CSU is a Shotokan Karate Club at Colorado State University, fully accredited and affiliated with the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). We practice traditional empty-hand Shotokan Karate, through a non-credit recreation class offered by CSU Campus Recreation.

For everyone from the first-day beginner through experienced martial artists, Shotokan Karate offers a great way to get and stay fit, enhance strength and flexibility, improve concentration, and build confidence.

Our classes teach traditional punching, kicking and blocking (protection) techniques, as well as application of the above through kata, partner drills, and self-defense. Through our parent organization, we offer testing for advancement of rank, as well as numerous competition and training camp opportunities for those who are interested.

Shotokan Karate at CSU is a great way for CSU students to make new friends, be active, and help deal with stress!
